12 tips for air-energy water heater heat pump maintenance
Aug 12, 2024
1. Make sure the water tank is full of water when the unit is used for the first time.
2. All safety protection devices in the unit are set before leaving the factory and after installation by the staff. Users should not disassemble or adjust all devices in the unit by themselves.
3. When the air-energy water heater unit is working, make sure that the water tank inlet pipe valve is in the open position, and avoid stacking debris around the unit to cause blockage of the inlet and outlet, affecting the normal use of the unit. The surrounding area of the unit should be kept clean and dry with good ventilation.
4. When the actual outlet water temperature of the air-energy water heater is different from the value displayed on the unit control panel, check whether the temperature sensing device has poor contact.
5. Frequently check whether the water tank safety valve, water system water replenishment, exhaust device, and liquid level controller are operating normally, check whether the joints of the water pipe are leaking, and regularly check whether the wiring of the unit power supply and electrical system is firm and whether the electrical components are abnormal. If there is any abnormality, it should be repaired or replaced in time to avoid affecting the reliability of the unit's operation.
6. The water filter should be cleaned regularly to avoid damage to the main unit due to dirty filter clogging and to ensure clean water quality in the system.
7. Check the electrical system and power supply wiring of the unit regularly to see if they are firm. If there is any abnormality, it should be handled in time.
8. The safety valve should be checked regularly every six months to ensure that the safety valve can drain water smoothly. If it cannot drain water, contact the after-sales service immediately.
9. The main unit should be cleaned after one or two years of use. It is recommended to use hot phosphoric acid liquid to clean the condenser with a concentration of about 15%. Start the main unit's own circulating water pump for cleaning. Finally, clean it several times with tap water. It is strictly forbidden to use corrosive cleaning fluid to clean the condenser.
10. The water tank needs to be descaled after a period of use (usually 3 months, depending on the local water quality) (in areas with high water hardness, silicon phosphorus crystals can also be used for water softening treatment), and the drain valve is opened until clean water flows out.
11. When the unit has not used for a long time, the water in the unit system should be drained and the power should be cut off. Before the next operation, the unit system should be fully checked.
12. When a major fault occurs in the unit, the user should not handle it by himself but should report it to the after-sales service in time and inform the problem so that it can be solved in time.
